Requirements

Eligibility For Commercial Pilot

Age

Minimum 17 years to begin pilot training and 18 years for a Commercial Pilot License.

Education

10+2 with (Physics & Math) or equivalent is required. Non-science students can qualify via NIOS.

Medical

Must hold a valid DGCA Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by a DGCA medical examiner to ensure physical fitness for flying.

Valid Passport

A current passport is mandatory for identification and for students pursuing any part of their training abroad.

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

A valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), valid for 6 months, is required to begin flight training at any Indian FTO.
